Howard Kaplan, M.D.

Dr. Kaplan attended medical school at the New York University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Kreiger Eye Institute in Baltimore, MD. He completed a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. Since then, he has specialized in vitreoretinal diseases. 
In addition, Dr. Kaplan is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is on the medical staff at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie and Westchester Medical Center.

Nancy E. Miller-Rivero, M.D.

Dr. Miller-Rivero attended medical school at Cornell University Medical College and completed a one-year research fellowship at the National Eye Institute in ocular inflammatory disease. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Jonas Friedenwald Eye Institute in Baltimore, MD. She finished a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship at Yale University in Connecticut. 
Dr. Miller-Rivero is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is on the medical staff at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie and Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Miller-Rivero has been honored by her peers as one of the Hudson Valley's Top Doctors since 2005.
